Attend one of our upcoming community events

In the past four years, we have hosted Elder Women Think Tank gatherings to collect input and advice from a small assembly of elder women. We have hosted survey booths during the Community Wacipi of Cherry Creek, Iron Lightning and the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Fair Wacipi. Our staff and youth interns traveled to 15 Communities during the Summer of 2024, surveyed, compiled and started to identify some of the core teachings of our program. Last summer, we hosted 48 sessions of Ribbon Skirt sewing classes in 12 of our Tribal Communities and collected more input from girls and women in their communities.

This summer we are traveling 3000 miles and have the honor of spending over 1500 hours with girls, women, and their families in their communities and Unci Maka.
