Join the Team at Unci Oti

Unci Oti, Grandmother's House, is our main office and teaching space located at 517 Main Street in Dupree, South Dakota. Unci Oti is our pilot location for our Matrilineal Leadership Program.  At Unci Oti, our grassroots program will serve the tribal communities of Wakinyan Maza (Iron Lightning), Wakinyan Paha (Thunder Butte), Mato Wakpala (Bear Creek), Lantry, Dupree, and the rural families in between. Programming is geared towards girls and young women ages 10-25, and is open to all ages and stages of womanhood to participate.

Our Matrilineal Leadership Program empowers young women to develop essential life skills and become inspiring leaders who shape the future. We believe that women of all ages and stages have unique experiences and wisdom to share, making leadership development an ongoing and enriching journey. We are proud to support and empower women on this journey, and we are excited to see the positive impact they will make on the world.
